Did They Ever Find the Lady Who Jumped Off the Carnival Cruise Ship?

By Anna Duncan

In the early morning hours of February 10, 2013, a 33-year-old woman jumped off the Carnival Cruise Ship Triumph while it was in the Caribbean. The woman’s identity was never discovered and her fate remains unknown to this day.

The Carnival Triumph was setting sail from the port of Miami on a five-day cruise when the incident occurred. It is believed that the woman had been drinking heavily in the ship’s nightclub shortly before she jumped overboard. Witnesses reported seeing her climb up onto the railing of an upper deck and then jump into the ocean without hesitation.

The crew of the Triumph immediately launched a search for the woman after realizing what had happened, but were unable to locate her. It is estimated that she fell about 50 feet into the water and would most likely not have survived due to being so far from shore and having no life jacket or flotation device.

The US Coast Guard also conducted a search for several days afterwards, but they too were unable to find any trace of her or her body. The case remains unsolved to this day and it is unlikely that any new evidence will ever be found at this point.

Despite all of their efforts, neither Carnival Cruise Lines nor law enforcement has been able to figure out who she was or why she decided to jump off of the ship so suddenly and tragically that night. Her identity remains a mystery and it appears that we may never know who she was or what drove her to take such drastic action.

Did They Ever Find The Lady Who Jumped Off The Carnival Cruise Ship? Sadly, no one ever found out who this woman was or where she went after jumping off of the Carnival Triumph in 2013. Despite extensive searches by both Carnival Cruise Lines and US Coast Guard personnel, no trace of her body or any clues as to her identity were ever found and it appears that this case will remain unsolved forever.
