The 2004 romantic comedy “After the Sunset” had many memorable scenes, but one of the most iconic was the cruise ship scene. The film follows two master jewel thieves, played by Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek, on a romantic getaway aboard a luxurious cruise ship. During the getaway, they are pursued by an FBI agent played by Woody Harrelson.

The cruise ship used in After The Sunset was none other than the Carnival Cruise Line’s “Paradise” vessel. At 1,004 feet long, it was one of the largest ships at sea at that time. It featured a swimming pool, theater and casino among its many amenities.
