Where Is the Carnival Horizon Cruise Ship Now?

The Carnival Horizon is a cruise ship that was launched in 2018 as part of Carnival Cruise Lines’ fleet. It is the fourth vessel to bear the Horizon name, and was built by Fincantieri in Italy. The ship has a capacity of 4,913 passengers and 1,453 crew members, and it sails to various destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.

The Carnival Horizon offers a variety of activities and amenities for its guests, including an onboard waterpark with six waterslides, a ropes course, mini-golf course, 3D theater, casino gaming area, several restaurants, bars and lounges, spa and fitness center, duty-free shops and more. The ship also features family-friendly activities such as an outdoor movie theater on the Lido deck for movie nights under the stars.

The Carnival Horizon has been sailing around the world since its launch in 2018. In 2019 it sailed to Europe with stops in Spain and Portugal before returning to Florida for its Caribbean voyages.

In 2020 it made several trips to Mexico as well as Alaska before being diverted due to the pandemic. Since then it has been primarily sailing out of Miami with voyages around the Bahamas and Caribbean islands such as Jamaica and Grand Cayman.

In 2021 the Carnival Horizon will be embarking on new voyages to Bermuda as well as longer cruises around South America with stops in Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia. The ship is also scheduled to visit Hawaii later this year with three different itineraries that will take guests around all four major Hawaiian islands.

Where Is the Carnival Horizon Cruise Ship Now? At present the Carnival Horizon is docked at PortMiami in Florida where it will remain through June 2021 before embarking on its next voyage to Bermuda in July 2021. After that it will sail south for its South American cruises before heading west again at the end of 2021 for its Hawaiian island adventures.
