Who Is the Woman Jumps Off Carnival Cruise Ship?

On July 5th, 2019, a woman aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Freedom jumped from her balcony into the Gulf Of Mexico. The woman’s identity has been kept private, as Carnival Cruise Lines has declined to comment on the matter. However, there have been some details released about the situation.

The woman was reportedly seen by other passengers on her balcony before she jumped. The ship had been en route to Cozumel, Mexico when the incident occurred. It is believed that she may have been attempting to commit suicide – although this has not yet been confirmed by officials.

The Coast Guard was alerted of the incident and dispatched a helicopter to search for the woman. They were able to locate her in the water but were unable to reach her in time and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into this tragedy is ongoing and it is unclear whether or not any charges will be filed against Carnival Cruise Lines or anyone else associated with this incident.
