Did I Ever Tell You About That Time I Went Backpacking Across Western Europe?

By Alice Nichols

Do you remember that time I told you about my backpacking journey across Western Europe? Well, it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I started my trip in Paris, France. It was early spring and I was excited to explore the city and its iconic landmarks.

The Eiffel Tower was simply breathtaking, and I spent hours just strolling around the city, taking in the sights and sounds. I also got to try some amazing French cuisine, from croissants to crepes.

From Paris, I took a train to Barcelona, Spain. The weather was warm and sunny and I absolutely loved exploring the city’s unique architecture and vibrant culture. From there, I continued south to Madrid where I experienced a vibrant nightlife full of tapas bars and flamenco shows.

I then hopped on a plane to Dublin, Ireland. Despite the chilly weather, I had an amazing time hiking through the countryside and exploring ancient castles. Plus, who can resist a good pint of Guinness?

Next up on my itinerary was Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This picturesque city is full of canals lined with colorful tulips for miles on end! From there I made my way up north to Berlin in Germany where I got to experience some amazing art galleries and music venues.

Lastly, I traveled south again to Italy where I spent time in both Florence and Rome. Everywhere you looked there were stunning works of art from famous Italian artists like Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci! Not to mention all of the delicious Italian food!

My journey across Western Europe may have been short but it was certainly unforgettable! From sampling local cuisine to exploring historic landmarks – this trip has left me with many fond memories that will last a lifetime.
