Is Rosenbluth Travel Still in Business?

By Anna Duncan

Rosenbluth Travel is a travel management company that has been around for more than 100 years. Founded in Philadelphia in 1915 by brothers Harold and Herbert Rosenbluth, the company has been providing innovative corporate travel solutions for businesses and individuals over the years. The company has grown to become one of the largest travel agencies in the United States and has offices across the country.

Rosenbluth Travel was acquired by American Express in 1999 and later merged with American Express Business Travel. In 2006, American Express sold its corporate travel business to Apollo Management, which formed a new company, Global Business Travel (GBT). At that time, Rosenbluth Travel was given its own brand within GBT.

In 2018, Rosenbluth Travel was rebranded as part of GBT’s expansion into the corporate market. As part of this rebranding, Rosenbluth Travel was renamed “GBT Corporate” and its services were integrated into GBT’s existing offerings. Since then, GBT Corporate has provided businesses with integrated corporate travel solutions that include hotel reservations, flights, car rental services, and more.

Conclusion:

So is Rosenbluth Travel still in business? Yes! Although it is now part of Global Business Travel and operates under a different name – “GBT Corporate” – Rosenbluth Travel is still providing innovative corporate travel solutions to businesses around the world.
