However, Royal Caribbean has some specific rules on what items are prohibited onboard their cruise ships. Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on all Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. This includes firearms, ammunition, swords, knives, explosives, or any other type of weapon. All weapons need to be pre-approved by security before being allowed onboard.

Illegal drugs, narcotics and controlled substances are also not allowed onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. Any passenger found with these items will be subject to immediate removal from the ship as well as criminal prosecution.
