Where Is the Cruise Ship Arcadia Now?

By Anna Duncan

The Cruise Ship Arcadia is one of the largest cruise ships in the world, and it was once a staple of the luxury cruise industry. It has been around for over 20 years, taking passengers on voyages to some of the most exotic places in the world. But where is it now?

The Arcadia was first launched in 1999 and quickly became one of the most popular cruise ships in Europe. It had a capacity for up to 2,000 passengers and boasted luxurious amenities such as a casino, spa, and multiple restaurants. The ship also had several state-of-the-art entertainment venues such as an ice skating rink, mini golf course, and even a movie theater.

In 2015, however, things began to change for the Arcadia when its owner Carnival Corporation decided to transfer it to another company called P&O Cruises Australia. This move was largely due to declining demand for luxury cruises in Europe and increasing demand in Australia’s growing cruise market.

Since then, the Arcadia has been on a number of different cruises around Australia, New Zealand, and even South East Asia. It’s become well known for its unique itineraries which include stops at some of Australia’s most beautiful locations like Cairns, Sydney Harbour, and Hamilton Island.

The Arcadia has also become popular with families thanks to its wide variety of activities available onboard including waterslides, kids clubs, and various sports courts. In addition to this, passengers can also enjoy live music performances from some of Australia’s top acts including Jessica Mauboy and Delta Goodrem.

So where is the Cruise Ship Arcadia now? Well currently it is sailing around New Zealand on its latest voyage before returning back home to Sydney later this year.

Conclusion:

The Cruise Ship Arcadia has had quite the journey over the past two decades from Europe to Australia then finally New Zealand. Currently it is sailing around New Zealand on its latest voyage before returning back home to Sydney later this year.
