The Cruise Ship Volendam is a cruise liner built in 1999 by the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy for Holland America Line. The ship has a capacity of 1,440 passengers and 573 crew members. It is currently one of the largest ships in the Holland America Line fleet.

The Volendam takes passengers on cruises to various destinations around the world, including Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe. The ship offers a variety of amenities such as an onboard spa, fitness center, casino, and multiple restaurants.

Since its launch in 1999, the Volendam has seen numerous renovations and upgrades. In 2016 it underwent a major renovation with all new carpets and furniture as well as upgraded public spaces.

The Cruise Ship Volendam is currently sailing around the Mediterranean Sea. It departed from Dover on April 8th and is scheduled to arrive in Barcelona on April 19th. From there it will sail to Rome before heading back to Dover on May 3rd.

The Volendam will also be stopping at several ports along its journey including Marseille, Valencia, Palermo, Cagliari and Corfu. At each port passengers will have the opportunity to explore nearby attractions or take part in shore excursions organized by the cruise line.
