Did I Tell You the Time I Went Backpacking in Western Europe?

By Robert Palmer

I remember my backpacking trip in Western Europe like it was yesterday. It was one of the best trips I ever had and it is something I will never forget.

The Preparations: Before I went on the trip, I did a lot of research. I read travel guides, looked up reviews of hostels and got all the necessary vaccinations. The most important part was planning out my route, so that I could make the most out of my time in Europe.

The Journey: After months of planning and preparation, I finally set off on my backpacking journey. I traveled through 5 different countries in Europe; France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. I stayed in small towns and large cities alike, experiencing the best that each place had to offer.

Everywhere I went was beautiful and unique in its own way.

Highlights: Some of the highlights from my trip include drinking wine in a vineyard in France, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea near Barcelona, eating pizza in Rome and visiting castles throughout Germany. I also got to experience some amazing nightlife throughout Europe; from going out for drinks with locals in Madrid to clubbing until sunrise in Berlin.

Conclusion: My backpacking trip through Western Europe was an unforgettable experience that left me wanting more. The sights, sounds and cultures that I got to experience were amazing and it made me appreciate life even more than before. Did I tell you the time I went backpacking in Western Europe? Absolutely!
